Carve Cases – Wooden iPhone Cases Made In Ireland

niallharbison

About a month ago I lay awake one evening and came up
with the idea of giving away a bit of money to help a couple of Irish businesses get started. Financing for most small businesses was non existent while the Irish economy was crying out for more jobs. When I launched it I had no idea that I would get over 200 entries and I could never have dreamed about how impressive the 2 winning companies would be. Today is a big step because after a lot of hard work behind the scenes with Donal we are ready to properly launch the first of those 2 businesses to the public. Today is the first step towards the huge future success of Carve Cases

Carve Cases

It’s all a one man show at the moment with Donal sourcing the wood, cutting them, moulding them, varnishing them, marketing the covers, doing PR, setting up the company, running the accounts and acting as the sales man. Donal has created the most beautiful packaging you will ever see that is made entirely from recycled goods and the cases are absolutely stunning. I have never used a case in my life personally but as soon as I tried one I fell in love. They fit like a glove.

Accelerating The Business

The first steps involved getting some
cool imagery to show the product off in all it;s glory which you can see at the bottom of this post. The website has also been upgraded to reflect the product. The cases will be sold online but will also be appearing in some of the biggest high street shops over the coming weeks in both Ireland and hopefully the UK. There are plans for other products once we get the launch out of the way as Donal is bursting full of new ideas. Hopefully when people get their hands on the product and see just how good it is then word of mouth will kick in and help push the online sales even faster.

What Can You Do To Help?

The business is tiny and all the cases are made by hand by the uber talented Donal in his workshop in Kildare. Every time he gets an order it makes his day and considering plastic cases cost between 20-50 Euros ordering one from him will not break the bank hopefully. If you don’t have an iPhone they make the perfect gift for somebody who does. This is not a charity and the business will have to stand on it’s own two feet over time but you can be sure than every penny of your spend will go back in to growing an Irish company and creating more jobs as the company grows.

Discount

Given the fact that the readers here were the first to spot the cases and provided feedback the first 10 to
buy one using the code “LovinDublin” will get theirs for 29.99.
