It’s nearly that time of the year, my friends, where we can binge on Christmas music with reckless abandon.
We all know what that means: Christmas FM.
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2016 edition.
What is it exactly?
You’re such a CFM noob. It’s only a volunteer radio station broadcast from Dublin that boasts the best collection of Christmas tunes ever assembled, brightening up workplaces and car journeys across the nation in the run up to the most wonderful time of year.
No big deal, like.

When does it start?
It kicks off at 1pm on Monday, November 28.

What’s its broadcasting schedule?
They’re live on air 7am to midnight every day until December 26.

What song will it kick off with?
Right now their asking for the listeners’ ideas on what this year’s first tune will be, so have your say over on Facebook.
Our money’s on David Bowie and Bing Crosby’s version of ‘Little Drummer Boy’.
How do we listen?
You can stream the show online here or download the app for iPhone here and Android here.
What are we supposed to do until it airs?!
Relax, festive music fans. Christmas FM’s website actually recommends similar stations here to tide you until their triumphant return.
