If you’re anything like us, you have been glued to Gogglebox since it arrived on our screens back in 2013.
We’ve been counting down the days to the Irish version and TV3 have now given us a sneak preview of some of the families that will be featured in the show.
First up, we’ve got the Gruffertys – Des, Laura and their daughter Danielle.
The Gruffertys will be giving their views and opinions on everything from Coronation Street to Enda Kenny from their house in Athy, Co. Kildare. Des and Laura met 14 years ago when Des walked into Laura’s salon for a hair cut, and the rest is history. The couple have four children, but only Danielle will be joining them on the couch.
Also, watch out for their two adorable Jack Russell dogs.
Next up, we’ve got Aga and Szymon. They hail from Poland, now living in Tallaght, and they’ve been best friends since they met in college over 16 years ago. Aga moved to Ireland in 2004 and Szymon paid a visit in 2007, fell in love with the country and never left.
Last, but absolutely not least, we’ve got an unusual family… in that, they’re not a family at all, but a group of friends from Cabra.
Jamie, Lindsay, Ashley and Grainne are self confessed reality TV addicts and their ideal Friday night is staying in with some TV and white wine. Lindsay and Ashley are sisters, but the foursome have been inseparable for years.
Gogglebox Ireland’s very first episode airs on TV3 this Thursday at 9.30pm – and we can’t wait.
