Ireland Claimed The Third Most Searched Jobs Destination Spot In The US After Trump Was Elected

Searches for job prospects in Ireland increased by 191%

Panic ensued and directed them straight to greener pastures. 

Job searches to Ireland in the US grew to almost three times their usual volumes immediately following Donald Trump’s victory.

Ireland, Canada and New Zealand took the top three spots, attracting interest from people in the US reconsidering their plans after the election result, according to jobs website Indeed.com.

Ireland saw the third biggest surge, increasing 191%, Canada was in second place rising 237% while New Zealand showed the biggest increase of 405%.

Yikes.
