Mattress Mick Is Stealing Our Hearts Once Again With This Noble Move

Mattress Mick is partaking in his most generous move yet, by taking up arms in the fight against cancer and donating portions of his sales to the Marie Keating Foundation.

According to Dublin Live, the famous bed salesman will be donating €5 from the sale of every mattress sold through his online shop to the Irish cancer charity, with the proceeds going to families who are struggling financially due to the disease.

Mattress Mick stated, at the announcement of the partnership, that he too has felt the wrath of the heartbreaking disease:

“There’s hardly a single family in Ireland who isn’t affected by cancer, including my own, so we’re so glad to be doing our part to help fight the disease.”

”We’re giving €5 from every mattress sold online so that people who are having a tough time while going through cancer treatment can get a Comfort Fund grant to help them manage expenses like hospital costs, prescription charges, and oil fills and they can get back to focusing on their health.”

“We hope that by the end of the year, we will have raised enough funds to help 12 families. You can buy a mattress that will help the Marie Keating Foundation at www.mattressmick.ie.”

Director of Fundraising at the Marie Keating Foundation, Linda Keating, was beaming with pride at the launch, thanking Mick for his tireless efforts:

“We are so grateful to Mattress Mick and his team for supporting our Comfort Fund.

“The Fund exists to give families affected by any kind of cancer some relief during a difficult time so it’s fitting that a brand that we associate with rest can support us in this way.

“Last year, the Foundation gave out over 525 Comfort Fund grants to people all over Ireland so we need this kind of support now more than ever.”
