Have you ever found yourself on a long journey, only wishing you could crack into some Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but you can’t, because you’ve no internet connection.
There’s no download option, so there’s no way to watch its stuff when you’re offline. But that might change.
Netflix’s CEO, Reed Hastings, isn’t promising anything, but he is flirting with the idea that the company may change their longstanding policy of a stream-only philosophy.
We should keep an open mind on this. We’ve been so focused on click-and-watch and the beauty and simplicity of streaming. But as we expand around the world, where we see an uneven set of networks, it’s something we should keep an open mind about.
