Now This Is A Viral Charity Challenge We Can Really Get Behind

Homelessness rates in Ireland are higher than ever, and charities such as Focus Ireland are struggling to fundraise with over 1,500 children and their families are living in B&B’s and hotels.

So when we heard about Focus Ireland's brilliant campaign we had to get involved...

Their #InTheShadows campaign is asking the public to do the following:

1. Take a shadow selfie.

2. Text "Shine" to 50300 to donate €4 to Focus Ireland.

3. Post it to Twittter or Facebook, nominating 3 friends to do the same.

#InTheShadows exists to show solidarity for people living in the shadows and raise vital funds to combat family homelessness.

On Shine a Light Night 2015, 16 October each donated #InTheShadows selfie will be projected onto Christchurch Cathedral.

So, we're calling on all our readers to get involved by sending us their shadow selfie and donating €4 to Focus Ireland today.
