Running a marathon is hard. We know this already.
But running a marathon with one of the world’s most prominent buildings on your head? Yeah, we imagine that’s pretty tough.
But, not for this guy. Behold – Eiffel Tower-wearing-marathon-man (patent pending).
And you thought running 26.2miles was hard?! Try doing it while wearing the Eiffel Tower on your head ???? #DublinMarathon pic.twitter.com/MtTHK83B2w

Some people were shocked, some were in awe, and some were truly baffled by the athlete’s excursions…

But most were wildly impressed. And as if this story couldn’t already get any better, according to local news reports the runner is 70-year-old Frenchman, Michel Bach.
According to a friend he’s completed the Marathon Des Sables – an ultra-marathon in the Sahara Desert, known as the world’s toughest race – 25 years IN A ROW.
Just to give you more of an idea of how fit this guy is (and to feel terribly bad for being out of breath on the stairs this morning).
Our Eiffel Tower made it to the #DublinMarathon finish line yesterday & had the perfect way to celebrate conquering the 26.2 miles!! ???? pic.twitter.com/dfyZ7oQsxw

But don’t worry, he works hard but also plays hard too.
Vive la France!
