A number of flights to and from Dublin Airport have been cancelled today due to the Lufthansa pilots’ strike.
Four flights that were previously scheduled to depart from Dublin Airport have been affected, as well as another four flights scheduled to arrive into Dublin Airport.
The strike itself, was called for by the pilots union Cockpit (VC), and is the latest episode in a long-running dispute between Lufthansa and the pilots’ union – however the strike announcement concerns Lufthansa operated flights only.
All other flights are not affected by these strike measures, and will continue to operate normally. However, the Lufthansa strike is expected to continue until tomorrow.
