There’s A Free Event In The Science Gallery This Friday – And It Looks Really Deadly

Science, art and money-saving lovers - ASSEMBLE. 

The Science Gallery will be open late this Friday 18 to showcase their newest and coolest exhibition - DESIGN AND VIOLENCE AFTER DARK: A night of shiny, designy, slightly disturbing splendour, produced in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

Not too shabby at all. 

There will be live music, unique activities, engaging conversations, live experiments and special performances.

The terrific Naoise Roo is the headliner and will be playing sweet sounds with the experimental electronic beats of Wastefellow right beside her. 

Aoife Van Linden Tol, the first artist-in-residence hosted jointly by Ars Electronica and the European Space Agency, will lead an interactive exercise and exorcise of the mind, and they'll also be confronting female taboos as Darragh Doyle will be chatting to Diane McSweeney and REPEAL project founder Anna Cosgrave about social stigmas surrounding menstruation, abortion, and other silenced issues.
