We’ve never been shy when it comes to expressing our love of all things spice bag, as well as the outlandish creations that have inspired by them, but this event takes the biscuit.
Our fried dreams have been answered in the form of a Spice Bag Social, being held in a secret Dublin city centre location, and we’re just dying for it.
The event is set to be held on Saturday, May 7, and to cater the event, the democratic heads behind it all have found a fair way of deciding just who gets to deliver the heaps of spice bag goodness on the night.
The Spice Bag Social is a democratic community, please cast your vote on the event wall regarding which city centre takeaway should cater this event. The establishment with the most votes will win the noble job. It goes without saying, they will be served in their natural state, i.e. in bags. This isn’t a Spice Plate Party.

Tickets are of limited capacity, and are priced between €5 – €12. Although get them fast, as the early bird ones are all gone. Get tickets here.

Each ticket is valid for one spice bag and one complimentary drink; beer or rum & coke. The tables will be laid out in a long, banquet style, and removed when the fine dining has come to a close. At this point, DJs will start laying down some sweet ’90s R’n’B, disco, house & techno jams through our spicey sound system. There will be two floors of music, a full bar, and we wrap up at 3am, leaving you wondering: did that really just happen?
