Irish artist Stephanie Rainey has just released this video for her new song ‘Please Don’t Go’ and it’s powerful stuff.

Inspired by the tragic loss of her nephew just two years ago, the video deals with the love and loss experienced by those who feature in it.

The Cork singer said of the song:

It’s hard to put into words what this video means to me and how grateful I am to the people who took part, it wasn’t easy […] This is the track that I am most proud to have written because it was so effortless and honest for me from the very beginning.

Since writing it I’ve wanted to create a music video that matched that honesty and could potentially help people who are struggling with loss. I think we’ve achieved something very special here. I hope that whoever watches this gets something from it.
