Many of us will be familiar with the astounding humanitarian Christina Noble – or Mama Tina as she’s widely known – who has saved countless children from poverty over the last 25 years. What some don’t know, however, is that she herself endured a horrific childhood during which she believed her three siblings to be dead, only to find out that they were alive and well.
The story of their reunion has been made into a stunning documentary film, In A House That Ceased To Be (trailer below), and Christina will be joined by her sisters Cathy and Philomena tonight on The Saturday Night Show. It promises to be an absolutely compelling interview – so even if you’re out on the town, make sure you catch this one on the RTÉ Player.
Also appearing on the show will be Canadian singer-songwriter Ryan Adams, and president-elect of the Trinity Students’ Union, Lynn Ruane.
Saturday Night Show, RTÉ One, 10.10pm
