There was a wonderful atmosphere at Dublin Airport this morning as Team Ireland prepared to jet off to the Special Olympics World Games.
The 88 participants, with their 40 coaches, are flying to LA this morning. Take a look below at some of the pictures taken prior to the team’s departure.

Team Ireland will be competing in 13 categories and the games will have over 7,000 competing athletes. The opening ceremony of the Special Olympics will take place this Saturday.
