This looks like the perfect spot for dinner and drinks this weekend.
A popular South Dublin restaurant is launching a brand new tapas menu and outdoor terrace that’s ideal for dining al fresco with a glass of sangria this summer.
The Wine & Tapas Bar at The Old Orchard in Rathfarnham opened its doors as a 30-seater restaurant a few months back and is now doubling its capacity thanks to its newly renovated terrace.
The cute neighbourhood restaurant on Butterfield Avenue will officially launch its terrace along with the new menu of small sharing plates this Friday.
Created by experienced Head Chef Darren Raethorne using only the best in locally sourced produce, you’ll find plenty of tapas favourites on the new menu, from jamón ibérico to gambas and calamari.
Owner Ali Chawke said, “We knew we wanted to do something different with the space available to us, so, a few months back we opened the new Wine & Tapas Bar, providing guests with that intimate, dining experience.
“The response was better than we ever expected, so it was a no brainer to expand further with our new terrace area!”
The Wine & Tapas Bar is open Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 11pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12.30pm to 11pm. You can check out their menu here.
