Lunch time is your time out of the dreary office, so you don't deserve to spend the entire hour in a queue.
If you're one of the hundreds working in or around the Dawson Street area, then here are some of the best lunch options for you.
Read 'em and... get hungry.
1. Tang
A by-product of the well-loved frozen yoghurt establishment, Yogism, Tang is the trendiest new salad hub in town.
With an aim to incorporate yoghurt into everything they do, the salads are based around delicious Middle Eastern ingredients and then topped with different twists on tzatziki, flavoured yoghurts, citrus, honey and black olives. Reasonable, tasty and healthy. What more could you want?
2. Sprout
Another trendy salad spot that popped up in the past year, and boy, are we chuffed about it.
Sprout doles out huge, nutritious salads that fill you up for ages and they taste incredible.
Just make sure you go at either 12:30pm or after 2pm, because the lunchtime rush here is insane.
3. Dunne & Crescenzi
Tucked away on South Fredrick Street, Dunne & Crescenzi is an Italian food haven.
Serving up authentic paninis, deadly sandwiches and hearty, full-flavoured soups - this is your one-stop-decadent-lunch-shop.
Fuck that's delicious!
4. KC Peaches
KC Peaches is slowly, but surely, taking over the the city - and with one on Nassau AND one on Stephen's Green.
Their small salad boxes are €4.10 and have the ability to hold enough to feed a small family. Also the salads are constantly changing, so there's no chance of getting bored. They also have two daily soup options which are always great.
5. Chopped
Located on both Grafton and Baggot, Chopped is convenient, vibrant and fresh - with their salads flying out day in, day out.
There's rakes of choice at Chopped so they'll always have something on offer that you'll enjoy.
6. Alchemy, BT2
Going to Alchemy for lunch can kinda seem a bit daunting, mainly because you have to slide through the beautiful people of BT2 to get there. But once you've made it there, it's actually quite the find for anyone on a health-kick.
Their delicious Paleo Stew is priced at €6, and it's absolutely whopper.
