7 Reasons Why Tonight’s The Sort Of Night Where TriBeCa Is Calling Out To You

It's not the most stonkingly original place in Dublin, nor is it the best of the best.

But some nights, you just can't beat a decent feed in this Ranelagh institution – and this is one of them.

Here's why.

1. It's been a bloody MISERABLE day

I mean, look at that. This is our summer. 

We're lucky to live in Dublin, for sure, but sometimes it all gets a little hard to take – sometimes it feels like the negatives outweigh the positives. So stick your head in here, and remind yourself why this city is worth all the rain in the world and then some.

Scheduling an Ireland match to kick off at 2pm on a Saturday? What in God's name were UEFA trying to do to us?

We can't really talk about TriBeCa without mentioning these, now, can we?

Sure, it lost the top spot in our most recent audit of the best spots in Dublin to get wings – but that's more of a testament to the rising power of the Blue Bar in Skerries and the ever-increasing brilliance of Farmer Brown's. 

The fact is that this is still one of THE best dishes in the entire city. In every genre, in every postcode, in every sense of the phrase. And you deserve a serving.

5. They're all over the taco craze

Crispy duck tacos? Ohmygodyesplease.

6. The cocktails will soothe your soul

It's not exactly a spot you'd visit on the basis of its cocktails alone, but that's not the point – there's nothing like a Bloody Mary to up your nutrient intake (ahem) and fix you up for the weekend.

7. And finally, there's no 5pm game this evening

The Euros are great and all, but devoted fans can feel a little bit like they're under house arrest during the group stages.
