Reeeaallly craving a cup of brew, but not willing to add to the unprecedented warmth of today?
Yep, us too.
BUT, have no fear. Dublin has stepped up its game, massively, in terms of iced beverages, and is all about providing you with the ice-cold treats you need to make it through today.
Here's our pick of where you can get the best of the best.
1. Nick's Coffee
This stuff usually sells out quite quickly, so get involved early to taste this beautiful brew. Soft, light and tasty - Nick's Coffee dishes out tasty, tasty iced coffee every single day.
2. Vice
Replacing Twisted Pepper is Vice, located in Wigwam on Abbey Street. Known for their killer flat whites, these guys also whip up an undeniably great Vietnamese Iced Coffee for summer.
Hail, rain or insanely sweltering shine - this tipple is as delicious and refreshing as you could imagine.
3. Proper Order Coffee Co.
Our resident coffee heroes boast a whole range of iced drinks, including a cappuccino milkshake, iced black, iced latte and cascara soda.
Aside from having a beautiful name, this place also dishes out some pretty beautiful treats. Including iced green tea matcha lattés (heaven), iced chocolates and iced mochas.
Unreal.
5. Legit Coffee Co.
This Meath Street café is already making a name for itself. They've recently added iced drinks to their repertoire, and the people are going wild for them.
Their selection is extensive, and they even have a wide selection of syrups to go on top for when you need a sugar kick.
6. The Dublin Cookie Co.
The two dream gals behind The Dublin Cookie Company have only gone and bloody done it. Due to the rising temperatures, the ladies have tapped into the cold foods market and started whipping up iced lattés as well as ice cream sandwiches.
A match made in cold, delicious heaven.
7. Kaph
A favourite with local socialites, Kaph's cold brew has been flying off the shelves as of late. Flavoursome, refreshing and that kick you need to dominate the 3pm slump; this little beauty is the elixir you need to kickstart the day.
8. Krüst
Krüst makes their own incredible Nitro coffee; coffee made cold, keeping in most of its vitamins, antioxidants and caffeine.
Which means...yep, you've guessed it, MORE caffeine.
Excellent.
9. Clement & Pekoe
The who's who of the coffee brigade only sip from Clement & Pekoe's South William Street bench - and now you can join the troupe by sipping on a cold one.
It helps that they're super delish.
10. Two Fifty Square Coffee Roasters
Famous for their dedication to whipping up the perfect brew, Two Fifty Square are coffee gods sent from heaven, and we're only delighted to have them. They were also one of the first to introduce iced coffee to the Irish masses, deeming us eternally grateful.
Their Vietnamese iced coffee is to die for, and should be considered the benchmark from which all iced coffees should be measured by.
11. Coffeeangel
We saved the best 'til last with this one.
Rich yet light, sweet yet flavoursome and all kinds of tasty deliciousness. We recommend you stop in here today.
