Luckily, we’ll have to choose no longer as some absolute genius has come up with a hybrid of the two.

Behold, the donut bouquet by Australian company Dessert Boxes.

Yep, it’s a box of tasty and delicious donuts beautifully presented as a bouquet – with a personalised message to make it even more thoughtful.

The bouquet is priced at $78 and while Oz is a long way to go for a donut, we reckon it won’t be long before one of Dublin’s finest purveyors starts offering the service.

Valentine’s Day will never be the same again…
