Get Ziggy With It – There’s A David Bowie Brunch Happening In Town Next Month

Sarah

“Ground Control to Major Tom… Take your protein pills and put your helmet on”

You heard the man: get ready for the best brunch you’ll have all January. As part of the Dublin Bowie Festival (during which a heap of venues in Dublin will host David Bowie music tributes, exhibitions, live Q&As and more), a special Bowie Brunch is taking place.

On Sunday January 7, The Woollen Mills will play host to a Bowie Brunch from midday until 3pm.

“Wake up you sleepy head, put on some clothes, shake up your bed and get down to listen to Today FM’s Ed Smith as he takes to the decks to provide all you pretty things with the perfect soundtrack to a perfect brunch.”

The menu sounds delicious…

Kick off the brunch with a Bloody Mary or Bellini and some ‘Hunky Dory’ starters such as classic Buffalo wings with blue cheese dip or Panko fried aubergine wedges, followed by Brunch ‘Heroes’ including a Ha’Penny Fry-Up, homemade waffles with berries and crushed pistachios.

Best bit? Everyone who comes dressed in their finest Ziggy Stardust attire will get a free ‘Star Dust dessert’.

Tickets are €35 and are available online here.
