A leisurely weekend brunch is one of the nicest ways to unwind after a long week and there's no shortage of great spots around Dublin to try.
San Lorenzos, Whitefriar Grill and Fallon & Byrne are some of the most popular in the city centre but we all have our local haunts that we frequent as well.
This week, the LD team shared their favourite neighbourhood spots for weekend brunch and whether you're a eggs bennie fan or prefer something a bit more substantial, we promise you'll love them...
This Stoneybatter favourite is always packed to the rafters at the weekends so you may have to queue for a few minutes outside to nab a table. That said, the staff are super friendly and the food is delish. Their veggie breakfast is just as satisfying as a traditional Full Irish (thanks to the tasty veggie sausages) and there's tons of non-breakfast options as well, like the Jerk Chicken burger.
Our order? Eggs Benedict with fries, accompanied by a Ferrero Rocher Latte and a glass of their super fresh OJ. It'll set you up for the day.

This place can lay claim to the best bread in the city, by far. They let dogs roam around the place, have the friendliest staff, deadly egg dishes and their homemade chai tea is the best.
What more could you want?
Our order? Keep it simple with scrambled eggs on toast and a chai tea.

My choice was a bit controversial as it's probably more lunch than brunch but if you’re looking for something a little heavier on the stomach but light on your purse, head to Alfie’s on South William Street
For €10, you can get three bowls of seriously delicious food and there's something for everyone on this menu.
Our order? Always, always the chicken wings.

This is a great call if you don't fancy the trek into town and the menu has all the usual brekkie favourites. The prices are seriously reasonable as well!
Our order? The pancakes are definitely the stand out dish, with a choice between the savoury bacon and maple syrup or sweet raspberries, chocolate and cream.

You can expect all manner of delish dishes in this joint, such as spiced carrot and walnut pancakes, spiced Irish sausage scramble, and they even manage to make porridge sound unreal (with pomegranate, pumpkin seeds with cardamom/Newgrange Camelina oil, honey and chopped nuts or banana and honey).

Serving brunch until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, you won’t feel the pressure to arrive too early to get your fix, which is especially appreciated on those nightmare hangover days.
Our order? Try the sausage scramble on sourdough with one of their signature juices.

Brunch at Brioche is a sacred ritual, and one that they have absolutely nailed. They're open for brunch Wednesday to Sunday, which has saved many lives.
Our order? Go for the ham hock eggs benny and a portion of home fries - life changing.
