If you haven’t already heard of Meet Me In The Morning, you must have been hiding under a rock. Voted Best Cafe in Dublin 2017 at the Irish Restaurant Awards, Meet Me In The Morning is one of our absolute favourite spots to go for some grub and a coffee.
The Café has recently been getting quite a lot of attention too, for one of their unique products – Their bright coloured, filled donuts.
These beauties are not only aesthetically pleasing, they’re also super tasty. They are made from locally foraged ingredients and we can’t believe they are 100% natural.
Look at these amazing colours!
The pink filling is made from elderberry, fennel sugar and damson plums, sourced from Rathfarnham and Irishtown. The bright orange filling is made from seabuckthorn curd and sumac, from Bull Island and Smithfield.
They are without a doubt some of the tastiest donuts we have ever had.
Meet Me In The Morning sell donuts seven days a week however these colourful treats are part of the #MMIMProject which happens every Friday. The flavours vary from week to week and they celebrate Dublin City in their own way, based on the source of the ingredients in each one.
The Café is also known for their amazingly colourful lunch and brunch menu. The menu is based around what’s on offer from the McNally farm.
These donuts must be tasted.
Sure isn’t eating yummy food the best way to spend the weekend?
