One Of Dublin’s Most Beloved Cafes Has Closed Its Doors For The Last Time

Whenever we’re in the mood for a pick-me-up cuppa and a slice of cake, we always head to Foam.

Its quirky and colourful decor never fails to cheer us up, which is why we were SO sad to hear it closed its doors for the last time yesterday.

That means no more cute garden gnomes, fringed chandeliers and fairy lights…

“It is with sincere regret that we inform you that Foam Cafe Ltd closed permanently on 31st January 2018,” the cafe wrote on Facebook.

“Unfortunately due to the current financial climate, the running of the Café has been difficult like the rest of us in the economy.”

They also expressed their gratitude to their loyal customers.

“It’s been our pleasure to serve you!” they said.

“We are extremely proud of all that we have accomplished in these glorious years and could not be more thankful to those who have believed in us.”

A sad day for Dublin’s cafe scene.
