Phibsboro Has A Brand New Bar That Is Going Down A Treat With Locals

AmyBell

If you’re ever in the Phibsboro area The Bald Eagle and Cross Guns has finally opened its doors and if you’re a lover of craft beer and gin, it’s a must-see spot.

The bar has been in the works for many weeks now as it was transformed into a quirky and unique setting that’s very different to the bar scene currently in the area.

The Bald Eagle opened its doors last Friday and hosts a wide range of not only craft beers, premium gin and cocktails – but they even have an exclusive brew from Rascals Brewing called ‘Sneaky Beak Session Ale’.

The gastropub has a warm homely feel with a fireplace that you can cosy up to on those cold winter nights and a host of dishes that is served daily until 10pm.

This is what it looks like:

The pub whips up delish dishes fresh from the kitchen from 4pm – 10pm Monday through to Friday and then 12pm – 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re looking for something light to snack on you need to try the Mexican Quesadillas, the Crispy Chicken Wings or the Sauté Tiger Prawns.

They also do a dinner menu if you wanted to sit down in a nice laid-back atmosphere for dishes of a very high standard including the Overnight Braised Blade of Beef, Pan Fried Fillet of Organic Salmon or there’s a range of burgers and pizzas.

The dishes are all reasonably priced and as the bar is only open a number of days, it’s still pretty niche and a hidden spot so you can enjoy it that little bit more than when it will pick up with punters.

If you’re looking for a secluded relaxed place to go for a drink (or two) The Bald Eagle is well worth checking out.
