Happy feckin’ hump day folk – consider us the bearers of AH-mazing news.

While some people may approach the Halloween weekend with a sense of dread, the fact that there will be a Gin Festival taking place miiiight just get you in the spirit.

The Hill Pub in Ranelagh has long been one of our favourite low-key places to head to for a refreshing Gin and Tonic; their creative drinks selection uses everything from fresh marmelade in their G&Ts to classic cucumber, and they’ve a seriously impressive selection of gins.

Best news? All G&Ts and Gin Cocktails will be a mere €6…

They will have five show stopper cocktails which include Raspberry Tom Collins

(raspberry Gin, lemon Tonic, fresh lemon juice & fresh raspberries) and a Yuzu Sherbet (Hapenny Gin, yuzu marmalade, hibiscus Tonic, sugar syrup, orange peel and sherbet powder).

They’ll also have lots of other cocktails on over the weekend, serving food til 9:30pm every night and The Hill will have a Halloween Fancy dress party on Saturday night, with prizes of :1st €100 Hill Voucher, 2nd & 3rd place €50 each for best dressed.

The Gin Fest will take place at The Hill from 6pm Friday until late on Sunday, so you could spend the entire weekend guzzling down your fave gin if you so wished.

Check out the Gin Fest event here and prepare to drink your weight in gin.

Amen.
