The Top Three Most Christmassy Pubs In Dublin For A Festive Pint Tonight

Sarah

The entire city is glancing at the clocks every two minutes in the office today as we all count down the hours until 5.30pm and the sweet, sweet freedom that is Christmas weekend.

While you’ve prob still got a heap to organise for Christmas Day, you’ve put in a long week and y’know what? You deserve a nice cold pint as a reward.

Sure look, isn’t it Christmas? Your local is all well and good but for some serious Xmas vibes head somewhere that goes ALL OUT for the holiday season. Here’s three of the most Christmassy pubs in Dublin…

Even the biggest Grinch you know will feel mad festive after a visit to one of these.

1. The Gingerman, Fenian St, D2

If you’re looking for the most elaborate Christmas lights in Dublin, look no further than the Gingerman.

There’s cheap pitchers of beer, huge sloshy G&Ts and the interior looks like something from Who-Ville. It’s incredible and right beside Pearse Station too, so no need for a taxi home.

2. The Hole In The Wall, Black Horse Avenue

Located outside a small entrance to Phoenix Park on Black Horse Avenue, the 400-year-old pub always goes the whole nine yards when it comes to festive decorations, so we got a bit excited when we first heard that they’d begun the process a little while back.

It takes them two weeks to put up the decorations and people go MAD for it.

3. The Strawberry Hall, Chapelizod

Strawberry Hall pub in have gone ALL out this festive with a stunning, excessive overload of kitsch-y Christmas decorations.

Just looking at them makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside. And thirsty. Very, very thirsty for a pint.

We’re really gonna be in the spirit now. Just three sleeps to go!
