These People Dedicated Their Saturday To Finding Dublin's Best Chicken Wings – Here's How They Got On
They basically did what we all dream of doing EVERY DAY
Dedicating an entire day to chicken wings?
That's exactly what Cathal Gillen and a troupe of loyal, sauce-dedicated followers spent yesterday doing – visiting five of the establishments in Dublin most renowned for their spicy offerings, and evaluating each as they went.
With six in total in the crew – "two culchies, two Americans, a Brazilian and a Bray head" – they visited TriBeCa, Canal Bank Café, Captain Americas, Beeftro and Elephant and Castle. Each marked their dish out of 10, before the group collated the averages for the day.
Here's how they got on...
An 8.5/10 for Tribeca. My kinda wings more crispy than saucy with just enough spice. Next up Canal Bank Cafe. #ChickenWingChallenge— Michael Corcoran (@lemachine) April 2, 2016
In its sister, the Canal Bank Café
And the lowly-rated Captain Americas
And on to Beeftro, where crew member Michael – who had resolved to eat a full portion in each restaurant – was starting to fade
And finally, the famed Elephant and Castle – where it all became a bit much
And the ultimate conclusion?
Can't argue with that.
Well done, crew. You have truly done the work of the almighty.
