If you’re struggling with the beginning of a new week, we have some news that might cheer you up.

You can now order a Tayto sandwich on Deliveroo.

The delivery service has teamed up with Tayto and Doughboys for a new menu that will be available for order for the next three weeks.

The three sandwiches have been specially designed by Doughboys owner Joey Somer, who has sourced ingredients from Arun’s Bakery, a selection of slow cooked meats, pickles, cheeses, sweet mustards and Dairygold butter.

The first is the Tayto Cubana (€8.50), which include Irish ham, slow cooked mojo roasted pork, mayo, Swiss cheese, caramelised onions, pickles and hot sweet mustard, topped off with layers of Tayto cheese and onion crisps.

The Deluxe Ham n’ Cheese Tayto Toastie (€6) contains slow cooked ham, sweet cheddar cheese and chilli tomato jam on multigrain sourdough bread, topped off with crunchy cheese and onion Taytos.

The Classic Tayto Sambo (€4.50)is a fancier version of the old favourite, with cheese and onion crisps, Dairygold butter and two slices of artisan white bread.

We know what we’re having for lunch today!
