Five Stunning Dublin Spots That Are Seriously Insta-Friendly

Lovin' Media

By Eadaoin Fitzmaurice

We all love a good Instagram, right?

Well, one of the best ways to make your feed amazingly Insta popular is to take your pictures in a great location.

Here are our top five locations in Dublin to give all your friends InstaEnvy.

5. Killiney Hill

First up is the super scenic Killiney Hill. Located just a 30-minute drive from the city, Killiney boasts some of the best views of the city.

You can see all the way across from north west Dublin to the south east and the best part is that it’s a short walk up to the top, so you’ll still be looking perfect for that selfie!

Killiney is also one of the best places to take a breather, kick back and watch the sunset, while your friend sits behind you capturing the moment of course.

4. The Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Gardens are a personal favourite of ours. Located in Glasnevin, the gardens have some of the prettiest flowers and most picturesque greenhouses in Dublin.

To top that all off, there is free entry so you can go as many times as you like to make sure you get the perfect selfie.

Who doesn’t love looking like Alice in Wonderland or taking aesthetically pleasing pictures of Dublin’s best greenery?

3. Hellfire Club

One of the most notoriously spooky places in Dublin also happens to be one of the prettiest. The Hellfire Club, located on Montpelier Hill, is a great place to park up and see the city from afar.

This is the perfect spot to get that windswept look, as the 1,257-foot mountain has one of the highest viewing points of the city.

Looking for a great caption to entice your followers? Well, rumour has it that the Hellfire Club has links with the devil and paranormal activity. And who doesn’t love a good ghost story?

2. Howth

From the cliffs to the harbour, we’d be crazy not to put Howth on this list. Howth has much to offer, including the Baily Lighthouse and the Martello Tower. It is also full of wildlife and nature. If you’re lucky, you may even spot some of the grey seals swimming near by!

Some of the prettiest shots of Dublin can definitely be taken in Howth and it’s defo worth taking the Dart out there just for the photo op.

You could fill your feed with a week’s worth of Instagrams and be raking in the likes!

1. Irish National War Memorial Gardens

The War Memorial Gardens is one of the most tranquil places in the city. The park is a hidden gem and is often very quiet so don’t worry, no one will be getting in the way of your perfect shot!

The gardens feature a beautiful rose garden and temples overlooking the River Liffey. Dreamy huh? This would be the perfect place to capture a ‘candid’ picture on a sunny day.

Next time you’re in the city, be sure to pop in to pay your respects and take a few shots. They’ll look so good you won’t even need to use X-Pro II or Valencia.
