The line-up was already looking pretty impressive for this year’s Forbidden Fruit and a further five acts have now been added.

Bonzai, 67 and Icarus have been confirmed for Saturday 3 June, while Mura Masa and Denis Sulta will take to the stage at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Sunday 4 June.

Orbital, Aphex Twin, Bon Iver, Booka Shade and Lisa Hannigan are among the acts who will play over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

The festival is also looking for submissions from Irish artists, designers, and creatives for installation proposals on the ground of the Irish Museum of Modern Art.

Anyone who wants to get involved is asked to email [email protected] by 1 May with a “brief visual and conceptual outline, the main area we are looking to commission a piece is the festival’s entrance. But we are extremely open minded to ideas, big or small using a wide array of mediums”.

Single day tickets are priced at €64.50 (€59.50 for Monday), with a two-day ticket available for €109.50 and a weekend ticket at €140.50.
