7 Surprisingly Great Places To Get Your Jewellery Fix This Weekend

New jewels go a long way. 

A new pair of earrings, statement necklace or a handful of rings can put an instant spring in your in-between-pay-day step. 

Here’s our pick of the surprisingly good places to get a jewellery fix this weekend. 

1. Folkster 

There are two branches of this very cool store  – one in Kilkenny (the original) and one in Temple Bar (on Eustace Street, next to the IFI). 

Besides gowns, kimonos and super cool homeware, both stores have some seriously gorgeous jewellery that won’t break the bank. Get in. 

2. Forever 21

Listen up – Forever 21 on Henry Street is our secret weapon when it comes to jewellery for going out. Their stuff looks good, and they have all of the trend pieces you’d want for less than a tenner. 

Dream situation right here. 

3. Rhinestones 

You’ve probably passed this boutique a hundred times and never really noticed it. 

Rhinestones is pretty much a vintage jewellery mecca for those in the know. 

You’ll find it on St Andrews’s Street, close to the H&M store off Dame Street. Warning – once you go in and see their array of gems you may not leave empty handed. We love this treasure trove. 

4. Kilkenny Shop 

Hang on, we know you’re going to think that Kilkenny Store on Nassau Street is for auld ones, but actually their jewellery offering is pretty amazing. 

You’ll find everything here from Chupi and Alex and Ani to Dyrberg Kern and Melissa Curry.

5. Dirty Fabulous 

The gals behind Dirty Fabulous (next to Cornucopia on Wicklow Street) search the world for the most unique dresses and jewellery pieces. 

We especially love their 1920s headpieces and vintage rings. 

The stuff in here is one-of-a-kind and has history. 

6. Powerscourt Centre

This is a one stop shop for jewellery seekers. 

You’ve got your simple, contemporary pieces in MoMuse, new Irish designers in MADE, wedding jewellery in Knightsbridge, and tons more besides. 

Handy out. 

7. Scout

This brilliant boutique in Cow’s Lane has some pretty gems worth checking out. 

The selection by Dublin designer Yvonne Ryan is our absolute fave.
