Set in the industrial array of warehouses and venues within the RDS complex, Metropolis Festival offers a buzzing combo of music, art installations and performance, with last year's event selling out quick.

Organisers have just announced the first round of music acts, and we have to say they're pretty slick.

The iconic TLC will play their first ever Irish show at this year’s Metropolis Festival. TLC were literally the BIGGEST girl band in the 90s, selling an incredible 65 million records and winning multiple awards.

DJ, producer and legend of underground dance Richie Hawtin will also perform, as will Leftfield, Jungle, Bonzai, and Ireland's own eight-piece Booka Brass Band.

Tickets are from a limited price of €99.50 and available online here.

Metropolis will take place the October Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday and Sunday 28th and 29th.
