Ireland’s First 24-Hour Movie Marathon Is Coming To This Dublin City Cinema

Sarah

Stretch out your legs and gather together your comfiest sweatpants, because you could be spending a whole 24 hours doing what you do best – binge watching classic movies.

Yep, Ireland’s first movie marathon is being held in Odeon Point Square on Monday October 9th, all to raise money for charity Aware.

You’ll be bringing your pillows and snacks to settle in for the day (there’ll be breaks for fun quizzes and pizza!), to watch a heap of class films on the big screen.

They’ll be showing: Jurassic Park, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, When Harry Met Sally, Scream, Before Sunrise, Airplane!, Groundhog Day, Almost Famous, The Ritual and whoever raises the most amount of money before 9am on October 6th gets to pick one movie of their choice!

You can purchase tickets here for €40, and given a sponsorship page for people to help you raise even more money for this great cause. Does your mam always nag you about watching too much TV? Well, now you can finally say you were just training for your marathon…
