Opium Nightclub is set to close from next week as part of a multi-million refurbishment.
The popular Camden Street haunt will shut its doors for three months to facilitate major works on site, with a reopening slated for August.
It will go out with a bang though, as two Forbidden Fruit after-parties will take place at the venue before the closure.
According to The Irish Times, the refurb is part of a wider €20m project by the Mercantile Group, which will see venues including Whelan’s, Café En Seine, The Mercantile Hotel and The George all receive an update.
