PICS: This Dublin Lad Has Only Gone And Made A Lifesized GOLD McGregor Statue

Sarah

There’s fans of Conor McGregor and then there’s superfans – y’know, people who will follow him around the world and get his quotes tattooed on themselves and basically just go absolutely nuts for The Notorious.

As whether Eamon Heneghan from Dublin is on the superfan level, the fact that the lad has created a lifesized, GOLD statue of McGregor is his back garden makes us think he kinda likes the UFC star.

Check out his insane creation below…

Eamon took inspiration from McGregor saying he would love a statue of himself, and finding himself unemployed he had spare time on his hands and decided to put it to good use.

Fucking hell.

Speaking to Lovin Dublin, Eamon said:

“I found myself with some free time on my hands and have been following the McGregor vs Mayweather build up avidly.

“I noticed Conor put up Instagram’s and tweets about how he wanted someone to make a statue of him, then went on holding a gold statue in a shop to say ‘make my statue this colour’ so I decided why not me?”

The statue only took 10 days to complete, and is made from a wooden frame, chicken wire, paper machete, and then clay on top with golden finishings.

Let’s hope Conor himself spots this. Impressive.
