5 Slick Houses You Can Rent In Dublin For €2,000 (Or Less) A Month

niallharbison

The rental and housing market in Dublin is seriously tough at the moment.

One of the sectors that we hear people having the most trouble with are houses for either young families or groups of young professionals sharing. There aren’t many new ones being built at the moment, forcing a serious supply issue.

We thought we’d do some of the heavy lifting for you and highlight five of the best coming in at €2,000 or less per month…

1. Crannagh Castle, Crannagh Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 – €1,800

It’s pretty rare to find anything in Dublin that has this much character and a large garden at that price. You’ll be living in a lovely area, but the downside is it only has two rooms.

2. Woodlands Cottage, Strawberry Beds, Co. Dublin – €1,850

You may have a longer commute to work than most, but this three bedroom cottage is a gorgeous little place to call home. Full of charm and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

3. Belarmine Square, Stepaside, Dublin 18 – €1,900

This place comes with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the added bonus of being furnished to a high degree. The DART is a stone’s throw away, so there’s easy access to town and the countryside.

This place is furnished to a high standard and comes with three bedrooms. It’s also flexible on the terms of the lease, even accepting just a three month stay.

5. 18 Athlumney Villas, Ranelagh, Dublin 6 – €2,000

This house is beautifully designed and, although it only has two rooms, you’ll be living in one of the most sought after areas of Dublin. Get two couples to squeeze in here and you’d be getting it for €500 a month.
