Development Of New €1 Billion Town Centre In Cherrywood Gets Go-Ahead

Hines Group has been given the go-ahead to build a €1 billion town centre in Cherrywood, Irish Building Magazine reports. 

The mixed-use development will be spread out over 2.1 million square feet and will include 1,269 build-to-rent apartments, 585,000 square feet of office space and a high-amenity leisure space.

Commencement on the site between Cabinteely and Loughlinstown could get underway later this year. The new centre is set to be the largest single urban development project in Ireland will be served by the the Cherrywood and Bride’s Glen Luas stops. 

The development will also include a number of bars, restaurants and a 200-room hotel.
