The housing crisis is as rife in Dublin right now as it ever has been.
We get messages every day from people struggling to find places to live in the capital, and we know the struggle all too well ourselves from moving in the last few years.
Sure, only last week I posted my own room to rent on Daft.ie and got over 200 emails in under two days – people were begging and pleading, offering to transfer deposits and up to six months rent right there and then. It’s f*cking shocking.
That’s why we’re always on the lookout for rentals and house shares for you guys because every now and then we find something deadly – the perfect place with the perfect price tag because that’s oh so rare these days.
This Liberties gaff would’ve been perfect, but its premium price tag breaks our lil hearts.
It’s €1,875 for this tiny one bedroom/one bathroom house. Even between a couple that’s over €930 each.
#heartbroken – this could’ve been The One.
The cottage has been totally revamped and upgraded – we get it – and the Liberties has fast become a popular spot to live in Dublin, but we just can’t help but sigh when we look at this steep price tag.
