Day one of two kicked off on Monday night in the Rose Of Tralee and people were picking out their favourite roses already.
Personally, we thoroughly enjoyed the Westmeath rose who squatted Daithà O’Sé. She threw him over her back and squatted him, madness.
Half-way through the second half of Monday night’s proceedings, there was an off-screen noise that I spotted while I was watching the Rose Of Tralee (if anyone says anything, I was watching the football though).
But it just seemed like I was one of very few people who noticed this happen, and neither Daithà or the rose that was on stage reacted to the loud sirens that went off for around 5 seconds…
Finally a siren in the background to remind us this is in a car park#RoseofTralee

Did you hear this last night or did it go over the top of your head? If it did, you weren’t paying enough attention to this yearly iconic Irish telly, shame on you.
