The Legendary Robert Plant Has Just Announced A Dublin Gig

The music hero that is Robert Plant (of Led Zepplin fame) has just announced that he will be touring his new album, 'Carry Fire', with a Dublin date included on the listing.

His eleventh solo album is his first full-length release since 2014’s acclaimed ‘lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar’, and Robert is again accompanied by The Sensational Space Shifters.

Speaking about his latest album, Robert says:

“It’s about intention, I respect and relish my past works but each time I feel the lure and incentive to create new work. I must mix old with new. Consequently, the whole impetus of the band has moved on its axis somewhat, the new sound and different space giving way to exciting and dramatic landscapes of mood, melody and instrumentation”.

He'll play the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on Sunday the 3rd of December, and tickets go on sale next Friday the 25th August at 9am from Ticketmaster.

And yes, these will sell out like hot fresh doughnuts so you'd wanna be quick about it...
