With 80,000 people expected to travel to see Guns N’Roses return to Slane Castle, the queues were always going to be a bit mental.
However, it looks like traffic is worse than a lot of people expected – with fans reporting major delays between Navan and the festival site.
Guns N’ Roses were slated to take to the stage at 7pm but fans are still on their way to the gig, with one Twitter user claiming that many have now chosen to walk in the hope of making the performance on time.

The torrential downpours earlier in the day may have contributed to the backlog, with some fans opting to wait until later in the day to travel to Slane Castle.
Hopefully everyone makes it on time!
