Lads. this is the day we’ve been waiting for.

The thought of this has already made our stomachs do somersaults.

Dublin City is about to get its own massive new indoor food hall.

It will have 15 outlets and space for up to 400 diners and it’s located in St Andrew’s Church.

Yup, you read that right. Eating something other than communion in a church is now a reality.

The Irish Times reports that Michael JF Wright Hospitality Group have taken a 25 year lease out on the church and hope to open the doors to the public by next summer.

There’ll be ten food vendors, three dessert/pastry outlets and two coffee kiosks as well as two bars.

The 15 outlets will be made up of 10 food vendors, as well as three dessert/pastry outlets and two coffee kiosks. There will also be two bars.

“We want to add something very different to the Dublin food scene,” said Ewan McDonald of the company.

“Hopefully, this will translate into a really great choice of foods – something to suit all palates, from traditional Irish dishes, to Korean delicacies, to the latest in vegan offerings. The mix is central to the success of the food hall.”

This is going to be a huge hit next summer.
