A Massive Amount Of Cash Has Been Seized At Dublin Airport

Sharron

Revenue has seized €63,750 worth of cash at Dublin Airport.

The money was found when officers stopped and questioned two separate men, who were both Romanian and both in their 30s after routine profiling at the airport.

The men were travelling separately but both of them were boarding the same 6am flight out of Dublin Airport to Budapest yesterday morning.

Revenue confiscated the cash and they suspect it could be the proceeds of, or was intended to be used in, criminal activity.

The investigations are ongoing.
