An Eco-Friendly Christmas Shop Is Coming To Dublin

Brian Dillon

As much as we love Christmas, we have to recognise that it’s possibly the one time of year that produces the most waste, much of which is non-recyclable.

We use an awful lot of wrapping paper and more often than not, many of the gifts we buy come in excessive plastic packaging.

So, we were pretty excited to learn that Dublin is getting a brand new sustainable Christmas shop this year.

The Conscious Christmas Store will be brought to us by sustainable brands The Kind and Jiminy, making it easier to reduce our environmental impact and shop guilt-free this festive season.

The Kind is known for selling fabulous eco-friendly products such as bathroom items, kitchenware, skincare products, reusable on-the-go bits, candles and much more. So we have a feeling there are going to be some amazing eco-friendly stocking fillers in the brand new store.

Meanwhile, Jiminy has a reputation for selling incredible environmentally friendly toys, art supplies, books, wrapping paper, gift cards, reusable Christmas crackers, decorations and absolutely loads more. Their building blocks are even made from plants rather than plastic!

So you know there will also be plenty for the little ones in this brand new store.

The Conscious Christmas Store will open in 13 Fade St, Dublin 2, on Wednesday, October 30.
