A Lot Of Dart Services Are Cancelled Or Delayed Tonight

Dart services have been cancelled or delayed this evening due to mechanical and operations faults.

Irish Rail made the announcement on Twitter earlier.

The routes include northbound trains from Bray, Clontarf Road and Greystones to Malahide, Howth and Connolly.

Southbound trains from Malahide, Howth and Clontarf Road going to Bray and Greystones are also affected.

Recent violent behaviour, including the stabbing on a train in Killester last night, has renewed calls for transport police on dart and train services.

It has yet to be confirmed if a dedicated Garda Public Transport Policing Division will be established to monitor the ongoing situation.
