An apartment in Dublin available for rent has been posted on Daft.ie, but the landlord has stated that she cannot accept the rental assistance payment as she is not registered.

Posting on Twitter, 'Dublin Rental Investigator' claims the landlord is discriminating against people who use HAP as it breaks the Equal Status Act 2000-15 on housing grounds.

Theapartment is situated in Ayrfield in Dublin 13, but is outrageously priced at €1,200 per month for one bedroom.

The prospective tenant will be sharing the bed with another person.
