An incredible sculpture of a WWI soldier is now in place at St. Stephen's Green ahead of the Armistice Day commemorations.

'The Haunted Soldier' was created by Dorset-based blacksmith Martin Galbavy and will be there until November 26.

The 6 metre tall statue is made out of old machine and clock parts.

This year marks the 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day bringing an end to hostilities between Allied Forces and Germany in the first world war.

Armistice Day is commemorated every year on November 11.
