Alcohol and cigarettes worth around €3,800 have been seized at Dublin Port this weekend.
Revenue confiscated the items during a routine check of a van at the port just before midnight on Friday. They had travelled from Romania via Holyhead.
They included both wine and beer and cigarettes branded as Winston, Ken and Pall Mall.

The male driver and his two passengers, all Romanian nationals in their 30s, were questioned and investigations are ongoing.
