Former Ireland and Lions captain, and general Irish legend, Paul O’Connell received a standing ovation on Question of Sport recently after handing out a sensational answer on Question of Sport.

The teams were first asked to identify seven sportspeople and, from subsequent questions, their initials were placed in missing words.

From just two letters out of 23, the Limerick man came up with the answer – Borussia Monchengladbach.

Take a bow Paulie, take a bloody bow.
