Are you the type of person who scoffs at emojis? Then no wonder your sex life sucks.
A recently revealed study by Match.com that surveyed 5,600 single online daters found that people who use emojis were more likely to have sex.
In fact, 54% of emoji users said that they had sex in 2014, while only 31% of emoji-haters got their bit.
The researchers also suggested that people who are sexually repressed were less likely to use emojis.
Match.com also ranked the most popular emojis for each gender, which you can see in the image below.
Dr Helen Fisher, a biological anthropologist who has researched in this area, told Time,
Emoji users don’t just have more sex, they go on more dates and they are two times more likely to want to get married.
(Note to self: use more winky faces.)
